Abstract

Shower cubicle adapter set for conversion to use as steam bath The adapter set includes a steam generator (16) to be fitted outside a shower cubicle comprising a base tray (10) and vertical walls (11, 12). A flexible conduit (22) carries steam from the generator to the cubicle interior. A steam nozzle (23) is fitted to the open end of the conduit, and mounted onto one of the cubicle walls by means of a removable adapter (24). A cover (26, 31) for the open top end of the cubicle (15) is made of a flexible plastic sheeting formed into a snap-on blind-type fitting which can be opened and closed. An adjustable mounting (27) for the cover is fixed to one of the cubicle walls, with supports (28) fitted to the tops of the other two relevant walls to guide the cover.
