Deputies arrested a man suspected of prowling through a couple's house in Valley Center and sneaking into their shower Friday, exposing himself to the woman who lives there. Just after 11:35 a.m., Jerald Wayne Harris went into an elderly couples' house on Valley Center Road , near Lake Wohlford Road . According to the San Diego County Sheriff 's Department, the couple did not know Harris or permit him to enter their home. The husband was right outside, working inside his shop. When the wife returned home , she heard water running from the main floor shower , said deputies. Once she went into the bathroom, the shower door swung open , and Harris stood there naked, staring at her. She ran out of the room, screaming for her husband. Deputies said the couple returned to the bathroom after that, but Harris had already fled. Soon after that, the wife realized her watch had been stolen. I have just started my first clinical rotation and at this time we are focusing heavily on getting experience assisting with ADL's, but the clinical site I am assigned to has already provided a challenge that was not addressed in our training (only 2nd day). In lecture we were taught the method for giving a complete bed bath and checked off on that in skills lab. The facility I am assigned to, however, uses showers for anyone who can ambulate to an from a chair, even if they need fully dependent for hygiene care. So here is my problem: I can't quite figure out how I am supposed to preserve the patients modesty with a bath blanket, while cleaning rinsing them off with a detachable shower head . One other student and I were asked to assist with a shower and found it quite awkward and by the end the bath blanket was quite soaked.
