Deputies arrested a man suspected of prowling through a couple's house in Valley Center and sneaking into their shower Friday, exposing himself to the woman who lives there. Just after 11:35 a.m., Jerald Wayne Harris went into an elderly couples' house on Valley Center Road , near Lake Wohlford Road . According to the San Diego County Sheriff 's Department, the couple did not know Harris or permit him to enter their home. The husband was right outside, working inside his shop. When the wife returned home , she heard water running from the main floor shower , said deputies. Once she went into the bathroom, the shower door swung open , and Harris stood there naked, staring at her. She ran out of the room, screaming for her husband. This incident happened close to the San Diego Humane Society , a church and a preschool. Aft...

0 Hey guys, this is my first time posting anything to this site, hope to this works out. I have just started my first clinical rotation and at this time we are focusing heavily on getting experience assisting with ADL's, but the clinical site I am assigned to has already provided a challenge that was not addressed in our training (only 2nd day). In lecture we were taught the method for giving a complete bed bath and checked off on that in skills lab. The facility I am assigned to, however, uses showers for anyone who can ambulate to an from a chair, even if they need fully dependent for hygiene care. So here is my problem: I can't quite figure out how I am supposed to preserve the patients modesty with a bath blanket, while cleaning rinsing them off with a detachable shower head . One other student and I were asked to assist with a shower and found it quite awkward and by the end the bath blanket was quite soaked. Also I am not sure how to clean the back side and perinial area...

Also, the growing interest in purchasing older homes in various Louisville neighborhoods is creating a need to upgrade older or damaged tubs and showers. Plus, sometimes you just want to change the bathroom aesthetics. The options are several, from refinishing or re-glazing the tub or shower to ripping it out altogether and installing a new one. Hi. My name is Bob and I seem to talk about toilets a lot here at Life of an Architect. Not because I love toilets – which maybe I do, they are kind of funny – but because there are a lot of bathroom layouts out there that drive me crazy. Since I am an architect that does residential design, I spend more time on bathroom layouts than your average person, I’m not just some guy in the next cubicle. Take the ( ahem ) design below which I picked at random when I typed “ master bathroom layout designs” in to Google [ shudder … my eyeballs still haven’t recovered] . Master Bathroom " /> The image above was one of the winners Google kicked back to me … I didn’t give attribution to the source of this design because I don’t think they would want it given the context of how I am using it here. Quick math will tell you that this is not a small bathroom – maybe something in the range of 10′ x 10′ square. While this isn’t the worst layout I’ve ever seen, I don’t love it. And one of the...
