Finding Nemo Baby Bathtub Gift Basket from Disney Baby!

If there’s anything that I love shopping for, it’s baby gear – everything is so soft and small and sweet, and it reminds me of when my girls were newborns. Combine that with my love of Disney, and you have one happy shopping mama. I just found out last week that my dear friend Darcy that I work with is having a baby! It’s definitely in the air – my other friend from work just delivered her beautiful baby a few weeks ago. So I was super stoked to do some Disney Baby shopping at Walmart this past weekend.
I knew that I wanted to create a great gift basket for my friend – she works really hard to make sure that we are taken care of, so she definitely deserves some spoiling. But I didn’t want to give her just a plain old gift bag…and what works better than a Disney Baby bathtub as both a gift AND an awesome gift basket?? And is there really any choice when it comes to Disney for bath time? Since my friend doesn’t know if she’s having a boy or a girl yet, I chose a Disney Baby Finding Nemo bathtub, and some awesome accessories to go with it!
It is so easy to create an adorable gift basket that will delight a new mama to be without being boring. Here’s how I created mine. I started by taking everything out of the package – this definitely gives you a minute to check out how cute and soft everything is – look how adorable the Disney Baby fleece blanket is – and it is SO SOFT. I can’t wait until Darcy can wrap up her baby in this adorable blanket!
I started by lining the Nemo bathtub with the blanket, and setting up the newborn sling in the bathtub – this is SO cute – it has a little padded Finding Nemo headrest for baby’s head to rest when they are little.
Then, I grabbed some adorable Disney Baby Finding Nemo flannel blankets, unwrapped them, and then rolled them around some baby bath products, and rolled the extra and placed them in the net.
I repurposed the matching green ribbon that came on the blankets to wrap around some color-coordinated washclothes, and then arranged the matching Disney Baby Finding Nemo toys that came with the bathtub- what perfect accessories! Now, not only do I have a great gift, I know that Darcy’s new baby with have everything he (or she!) needs to be all set for their first bath – and what a special moment that is!
I had such a great time shopping for Darcy’s new baby, and it was so easy to find all the coordinating items at Walmart – they are so conveniently located all in the baby area! They also have Ariel bathtubs too (the purple tubs in the picture) if you know that your favorite mama-to-be is having a girl!
